40 Pillars M&I is the brainchild of Omar Shakur, and his relentless pursuit to free his peer from the complex mismanaged and oppressive legal system that is prone to so many injustices.
In the 2000’s New York Omar Shakur has tutored under assistance with attorney firms such as “Jackson, Brown, Powell, St. George in New York” navigating through the entertainment industry as entrepreneur. Critical thinking with youth in crisis, and work with at risk youth and their families to give them the tools and support for a gang free life. Currently, socially developing a healthy transition into criminal justice on subjects that exposes social injustices and victory of the socially excluded.
Though, the Justice system is slow and attorneys needs to be paid with all this in mind, he created a For Profit company 40 Pillars M&I, a legal services company that with its partners in the Nonprofit world will go to prisons and through screening and fact findings, identify actual Innocent People that needs our help, and with our Funds and network of TOP Attorneys, Private Investigators, Political, Media personalities and others reopen the cases, advocate for the victims, get their release and have the Federal, State, City governments to settle and pay for the suffering caused.
The victims that sign with us are agreeing, once the settlement is reached, to reimburse us for all costs we incurred, plus 1/3 of the settlement. Thus, generating cash returns to our generous funding partners and increasing the war chest to go out and FREE more Innocent Victims.
We are structuring to be a full service company our clients the Innocent Victims, we will:
- Identify the Innocent Victims.
- Get their cases reopen.
- Get their release as soon as possible.
- House them in our transition facilities run by our sister Non-Profits with government Grants and Donations.
- Also Pair them with Social, Medical, Psychological help, including financial advisors and counselors, for them to transition optimally and reintegrate to the society.
This is a business model that doesn’t need a separate marketing or effort to spread. The word is already spreading like wildfire, desperate inmates and their families are already looking for us and trying to get their cases heard by our team, and from the initial calls we already identified and signed with a few Innocent Victims that our Attorneys identified as a for-sure win.
The return is very high both, human, giving FREEDOM to an Innocent Victim is a big reward in any measure, and financial, with return of 1~2,000%. A typical case costs $250,000 and between 6 months to 3 years from the funding to settlement. For someone that was wrongfully Incarcerated for 10 years or more, typical settlement reaches $10~15 Million, and with our fees of 1/3 of the settlement, expected ROI is 1~2,000%.
